Once I was a sailing ship Adrift. No wind with my sails, no compass to guide me. It’s just that I’m aimless Bobby in the sea of life.
Motivation and direction were foreign to me. I just floated through life by letting the waves take me wherever they were satisfied.
Until one day I decided to take the steering wheel. To draw my own course. Committed to eight new behaviors that will change everything.
And let me tell you that it was not easy. But through trial and mistake, perseverance and patience, I started to see changes. The adults.
Here is my story, and how much eight plain commitments have turned me from a rough ship to a stable sailor, with the obvious destination.
1) hugging in self-employment
I was a ship without compass, jumping in the winds of life.
That’s as long as I didn’t realize that the compass was inside me. It was called “self-employment.”
It’s easy to follow the crowd to allow others to dictate your way. But when you are in touch with your real self, you begin to realize that you have your own unique way to follow.
Hugging for me in self-love was like to find my real northern. It gave me direction, a sense of purpose.
It was not always comfortable. Sometimes it meant to strictly accept truths about me. But as I did, I found the motivation that took me so long.
Suddenly I didn’t distract again. I had the destination and I had a motivation to get there.
And all that required was, looked in and hugged what I found there.
2) putting concrete goals
I used to dream big, but that dreams were just that dreams. Holiday, intangible, and so far they seemed impossible.
Then I started setting concrete goals.
For example, I always wanted to write a book. But it always looks like a mountain was very high to climb. Before I destroyed it in smaller, more manageable purposes.
I started writing a daily page just. Then the head of the week. Before I knew it, I finished my hands.
By putting concrete goals, my dreams didn’t look far away. They were right there, in my reach, they were ready to catch me.
This was a turning point for me. Suddenly I had a direction. I knew what I had to do and how to get there. And most importantly, I was motivated to do so.
3) processing flexibility
Life is full and falls. But here’s what. It’s not the word, how many times do you fall, but how many times do you choose you?
Resilience is like muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it becomes. In fact, research has shown that people who are actively developing flexibility are more likely to be able to jump back from failure and are less likely to refuse adversity.
This was my secret weapon. I have worked on my flexibility to withstand obstacles and continue my ability. And how did I do, I found my motivation and direction became stronger?
Because when you are resistant, no obstacle seems too big, no goals away. You see every obstacle as an increase in growth, and every failure as a step towards success.
4) Living indeed
In order to be authentic means to be faithful to him. It means that you accept your strengths by recognizing your weaknesses and equipping your actions with your values.
This was a game modifier for me. I realized I didn’t have to live with someone else’s expectations or standards, but my own. The only person I needed to impress I was.
Living a future gave me a sense of purpose and direction that I had never felt before. It burned my motivation, because I was no longer trying to authenticate, but for personal performance and growth.
It is not always easy to implement in a world that often expects compliance. But it’s worth it. Because when you are true to yourself, you live life on your terms, and there is no greater motive than that.
5) Independent care priority
I learned an invaluable lesson in search of motivation and direction. You can’t pour out of an empty cup.
I myself was relentless, often at the expense of health and well-being. But I quickly learned that this is a consistent way to burn.
So I started to prioritize self-service. I was convinced that I slept enough, eating healthy, I regularly exercise and take time for leisure and leisure.
And the difference was shocking. I felt more energy, more focused and more motivated than ever. I realized that taking care of myself was not a luxury. It was a necessity.
Because when you are in good shape, you are physically, mentally and emotionally, you are better equipped to navigate the challenges of life and solve your goals with determination and determination.
6) Failure hugging
Failure is often seen as something to avoid everything. But I started to see it in another light.
Instead of seeing failure as a balance, I started watching it as a teacher. It was an opportunity to learn, grow and improve it.
Every time I fell short from goal, I accepted the time to understand what was wrong and how I could do better next time. In the future, this change became stronger.
Instead of failing to avoid failure, I pushed me. It pushed me to try harder, dig deeper and continuing even when disagreements accumulated against me.
Don’t be afraid of failure. Accept it. Because every failure brings you one step closer to success.
7) consistency
The secret of success is not in exasperation, but in doing ordinary and better things.
I learned that consistency is the key. It was not enough to motivate and have a direction. I also needed to be consistent to achieve my goals.
Whether it writes every day, regularly exercising, or you remained convinced that I was in reality. Even in the days when I didn’t feel like that.
And slowly but for sure, I started to see results. My motivation added, my direction became clearer, and my dreams began to become real.
Remember that Rome was not built one day. It takes a consistent effort over time to build something valuable. So continue, even when progress seems slow. Because every step is closer to you closer to your dreams.
8) Development of growth thinking
After all, everything comes in mindset. I learned that having a growing mindset. Believing that the capacity can be developed through devotion and hard work, it is fundamental.
Obstacles with growth growth are becoming opportunities to learn, challenges become steps for growth, and efforts become a master’s way.
This faith transformed my prospect. It gave me the courage to walk out of my comfort zone, and the motive will continue to be motivated in terms of difficulties.
Growth thinking only to believe that you can improve. It is about the beliefs to believe in the intention of thinking, challenges and will be seen in each obstacle.
So develop the growth mindset. Believe in your ability to grow and learn. Because when you do, there is no limit to what you can achieve.
Reflections on travel
If you have come to this distance, you probably realize that finding motivation and direction is not a night process. It’s a journey filled with self-reflection, testing and mistake and, most importantly, growth.
We are talking about better understanding yourself, to put tangible goals, accepting failure as a learning opportunity and stability and stability. It’s about to live legally and take care of yourself.
But first of all, we are talking about the promotion of growth thinking. The belief that our abilities can be developed through devotion and hard work.
According to Carol Van, the well-known psychologist and researcher.
So, when do you think about motivation and direction to find your own travel, remember this? Every step, no matter how small progress is. And every obstacle is not backward, but the growth step towards growth.
Because after all, it’s not just about getting to destination, it’s about who you get on the road.
