Remote work is becoming a standard for many creative teams and add more cooperation and ingations to the AI mixture, and the design process is being tested. The tools are abundant, but still in cooperation often felt more fragmented than liquid. To understand how well we can build better, Saad Rajan and Vitek Haligeri Veerana, the design platform Cofounders Naya. Their joint work won one of the 75 gold prizes
Q: You both come from a deep technical and creative origin. What did the design process violate the first time?
For many years, the development of products – everything from special planes to architectural structures and has become the same issue. The most innovative or creative ideas did not survive. They would lose in folders or bury them in the boxes. Some ideas slowly slipped around adjustments. Others decrease with inefficient work flow. These friction teams combined while working in tools and places. We had deepened when we came to the Graduate Design School for a master in Harvard’s design engineering. We realized what the reason for large-scanded-iteration, cooperation and points is that it combines these points – especially where there is a struggle for current systems in distant environments.
Q: What has changed the most about design work in the last five years?
The design was more distributed due to remote work. This slip has opened incredible potential, but also applied chaos. AI adds to another complex layer: There are more active and stakeholders who put forward more comments. Iteration occurs on dozens of platforms. Contact is scattered between Miro boards, Google Documents, Dropbox, Slack, Email and Text. Everyone works hard, but definitely not together. Because the remote teams are less likely to share rough draft, you lose this aisle conversations, when one is a useful editing or a great addition to a colleague and an existing idea. People without shared context are reluctant to jump.
Q: It makes iteration and cooperation even more difficult. How do you define the great design today?
The dirty begins to embrace the middle. Iteration is not just a re-work – is the place where creativity lives. We believe it comes from making a great design, cancel and resubmit. However, if you can only be watched and can record progress easier. The connection is a large part of this process, in fact it is everything. The more voices, how good the result is. This can be an engineer, one of your end users, marketing teams or your AI agent. But for this, feedback should be centralized. Also, everyone needs to be seen on time and. Q: So how does Naya solve this problem?
